Brad Dunn, General Manager congratulates Martin Healy on his 20 years of service

Martin Healy, National Sales Manager at Williams Refrigeration Australia, recently celebrated his 20th anniversary working for the company. Since joining he has seen the business expand, change locations and, in recent years, place significant focus on manufacturing flexibility and customisation of the standard range of cabinets.

With a technical trade background, Martin started working for Williams as a sales representative for NSW and soon after took on his current role. “I would say a highlight of working here was joining at such an early stage in the company’s history,” says Martin. “It really felt like we were pioneers as commercial refrigeration in a standard sized cabinet was only then beginning to take off in Australia. The senior management in the early years had a strong commitment to supporting and backing up whatever you manufactured and that has continued right thru to today.”

“One of the major changes in the last three to five years has been the commitment to product enhancement and manufacturing flexibility,” says Martin. “When I first started working for Williams, we had a very limited product range, since then the range has expanded exponentially to where Williams now offer a massive range of standard, optioned and custom cabinets. With the systems we have in place across the company the future is extremely exciting and one I am certainly looking forward to!!

Williams recognises the outstanding contribution that its loyal employees have made to its success. “We are a company that is known for our long-serving employees - as well as for the excellence of our refrigeration products.” says Brad Dunn, General Manager at Williams. Williams is now a recognised market leader in commercial refrigeration, supplying to hundreds of hospitality venues, but it doesn’t forget that the workforce is the driving engine of any company.

Martin says, “I have seen Williams grow over the years, and although the range of units that we make has sky-rocketed, we still pride ourselves on manufacturing top quality reliable refrigeration products at a reasonable price. We have expanded our operations but not lost sight of the core values that attracted me to Williams in the first place. It is a company that believes in looking after its workforce.”

As for future plans, Martin looks forward to the next 20 years at Williams!
