Standing since 1879 above the glittering surf, the Grand Pacific Hotel is a Victorian-era landmark brought thoughtfully back to life. Its recent refurbishment blends maritime romance and Gothic flourishes with modern comfort to welcome locals and travellers to dine, drink, and unwind with sweeping views of the Lorne coastline.

The venue’s coastal grandeur

From ornate period details to the breezy foreshore outlook, the Grand Pacific balances heritage character with contemporary hospitality. Guests move between the dining room, outdoor spaces, and the iconic Fishermens Bar, where atmosphere and ocean light do the heavy lifting.

The culinary experience

The kitchen champions Italian-inspired cuisine and service that keeps pace with a busy, all-day venue. The brief called for refrigeration that would match the venue’s aesthetic up front and deliver rock-solid performance out back—supporting fast pours, crisp glassware, and chef-friendly workflows from prep to pass.
