Celebrating 30 Years of Dedication: Martin Healy a Wiliams Refrigertation

We are thrilled to celebrate Martin's 30th anniversary with Williams Refrigeration! His journey has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by dedication, resilience, and countless achievements. Starting as the NSW Salesperson in 1994, Martin has witnessed and contributed to significant changes and advancements in our industry.

Reflecting on his time with us, he shared, "It has certainly been a whirlwind. Some of the people I met on my first week at Williams are still customers of mine. The changes in technology and the way we interact with customers have been immense, especially in the past five years." One of his proudest moments was being part of the Sydney Casino project and the relocation of the Royal Easter Show to Homebush.

When asked what motivated him to stay with Williams for three decades, he said, "It has been a very nurturing and inclusive company. The product speaks for itself, and the friendships I've made and kept are invaluable. I have so much more that I want to do."

Martin credits his success to the unique and diverse team at Williams. "I learnt early on that there's always someone smarter than you, which drives me to compete and jump out of bed every day," he said. He also emphasised the importance of continuous learning and noted, "You never stop learning. And your competitors never sleep!"

His contributions have been instrumental in our growth. Martin is always available and goes above and beyond to assist dealers and end-users. His knowledge and professionalism are key reasons why people choose Williams.

Looking ahead, he hopes the industry continues to support Williams, especially as we approach our 40th year of manufacturing in Australia in 2026. He also envisions a future where energy costs come down through greater uptake of R290 and stricter adherence to GEMS energy rules.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys golf, watching rugby at The Haven, and spending time with his family. Balancing professional and personal life has its challenges, and he admits, "I don’t do it very well... ask my wife!" He looks forward to playing more golf, though his grandkids might have other plans!

Martin would like to thank his first General Manager, Neil Gibson, for taking a chance on him. Summing up his 30-year experience, he said, "Time flies when you are having fun!"

Thank you, Martin, for your incredible dedication and contributions over the past 30 years. Here's to many more years of success and friendship. Onward and upward!
