Williams Cameo back bar units and Bottle Coolers were recently selected by Cini Little Australia and ACT Stainless Steel for the upgrading of facilities at the Royal Randwick Racecourse. However the project required the Cameo units to be stretched taller than the standard units by about 250mm.

Fortunately, the entire Cameo range had recently upgraded using the latest CAD software incorporating synchronous design capabilities to include many new features in response to customer requests. The new Cameo Star range is the result. A major change was removing the ugly and bulky evaporator from the workspace to maximise the useable display area. The evaporator is now housed in a side service compartment. Energy saving LEDs are also now included in every model.

The self-contained unit is front breathing enabling it to be positioned into corner locations and features a removable cassette for ease of servicing and a front mounted condenser coil for ease of maintenance. The remote unit is narrower thereby giving back space to the bar. It can be plinth mounted and allows services connection access from three sides.

The synchronous design technology enables standard cabinets to be easily stretched (or shrunk) in any direction without the need to start the entire design from scratch. Engineering development time and product lead times are slashed. Williams was an early adopter of CAD software with synchronous technology. We are often asked for ‘special’ sized equipment to meet project requirements, using the latest technology the task has become much easier.
