Wine Towers at QT hotel

With an eye for modern design whilst reflective of past, the 200 guest suites that make up the hotel have been carefully crafted within the heritage-listed Gowings department store and State Theatre buildings. This boutique Sydney accommodation retains many of the buildings most distinctive features, such as the blend of Gothic, Art Deco, and Italianate influenced architecture that form the dazzling exterior of the building.

The lower levels of this truly designer Sydney hotel, retain an historical allure but are the home of Sydney’s hottest new bar Gilt Lounge and the Gowings Bar & Grill seafood restaurant. The hotel also boasts a formal dining area and a European-style cafe called Parlour Lane Roasters café and wine bar.

Williams refrigeration cabinets have been used extensively throughout the hotel including three large feature Wine Towers. With black stainless steel exteriors, mirror stainless interiors and warm LED lighting each wine tower can hold and display twenty dozen bottles of fine wine. Sangster Design Group acted as a consultant to the project with the installation done by ACT Stainless Steel.
