Tuesday 21 October 2014
The recently opened $1.6 billion Emporium Melbourne CBD shopping centre has established itself as the city’s premier retailer centre. Featuring a mix of Australian and International designers it’s 225 stores provide a fusion of art, culture, fashion, and food. A highlight throughout the six floors of the centre is the expansive food offering plus a very fancy 1000 seat food court.
Williams refrigeration products were selected for many of the food stores including; The Tea Salon, Becasse, Guzman y Gomez, Jones the grocer, Bombay Duck, Thr1ve, Charlie & Co, Top Juice, Dainty Sichuan, Botica and Waffee.
For energy conservation and to reduce heat output to the space, a unique requirement of the site was to provide refrigeration cabinets with in-built water cooled condensers for direct connection to the building condenser water loop system.
