Perth’s City Beach has slowly been transforming into a hub for high-level foodies. The latest venue addition is Hamptons. The flagship venue is part of a massive $18 million, multi restaurant and surf club complex. With spectacular ocean and beach views the venue hosts both indoor and outdoor dining options and opens daily from 7am to midnight.

Aptly named, the venue brings in beautiful coastal colours of blues, whites and mushrooms (synonymous with the famous US upmarket holiday hotspot ‘The Hamptons’) into its design and styling. The aim is to bring to life a relaxed and casual but classic and sophisticated beachside dining experience.

The venue’s excellent reputation is attracting top chefs—not only from local Perth, but from around the world. The restaurant serves up delicious modern Australian cuisine with a ‘Hamptons’ twist.

For owners Fiona and Marcel Slobe, Hamptons was a long-time dream. It was around eight years ago that they first dabbled with the idea of opening a restaurant at City Beach. It took some time to secure the land, consult with community and conduct planning, however the development began in earnest in 2013.

The project was designed and managed by David Livingstone and Adrian Tobin of Caterlink.

The venue has installed four back-to-back Williams Cameos in the bar area, along with Williams Opal units—with drawers and air wells—in the kitchen.

The clients are extremely pleased with the outcomes of the project, citing “The refrigeration supplier’s [Williams Refrigeration] recommendation was spot on.”
